Those that live with grand ideas

Those that live with grand ideas
Of being grand and being better
Than other simpler creatures flying
Across the starry skies like bats
They carry heavy burdens
And walk a life of blindness.

For working hard to be just simple
Is truly work much greater
While the you that’s made of clay from earth
Has yet to find its way.

And not that dreams don’t matter
And yes, a life is empty
If never visions flow
Through corridors created out of love.

To dream is not to sleep.
Awaken beautiful and whole.
And if your dreams are always shattered
Then maybe you had better rock & roll.
