Elderly lady walking alone

Elderly lady walking alone
Pushing a cart with groceries and toilet paper
At 9.30 p.m.
Adjusts her mask.
There isn’t a soul around.
She stops. Takes her glasses off.
They are steamy, she cannot see.
She is blind.
She keeps walking on.
And stops every 6 feet or so
To clean those glasses.
My heart is broken.
